    Under UK laws, does dell Honour 7 day cooling off period?.
    I ma just about to order a studio XPS 16, and if I get any issues I want to return immediately. Do I also need to make the payment by credit card or can it be debit card?



    I am currently pissed of with Dell. I ordered a Laptop in March when they offered a free additional battery. I have been calling dell UK (....india really)for last couple of months but they kept passing me backwards and forward.

    Well i guess I never learnt my lesson.!

    by the way i am still on hold to dell (for last 40min) while I am typing this :mad:

    In the US, they give you 25 days during which you can return the unit. If it's defective, they won't charge you a restocking fee; otherwise, it's 15%. I would assume that they have the same policy in the UK, but I'm not 100% sure.

    This whole post is confusing?
    You ordered in March and you were to get a free battery? Then in March 2009 and now you are ready to order a laptop maybe if you get 7 days to cancel?

    You are mad because you are on hold? Now ( when you posted?)

    So What does March 2009 have to do with December 2009?

    What does an offer from March have to do with December?

    Its like you are leaving out a lot of info here.

    If your upset with Dell then get an Hp or other. :confused:
