Does Dell always ship with DHL or does it matter what region of the US you live in. DHL is not very prominent in my area, I hardly ever see them, and have only had one thing delivered by them, and they just delivered it to the post office who then delivered it to me.

    yes and no lol.

The only time I have ever had dell ship anything using another carrier was when we got a desktop off them recently for work. It was done through some sort of UPS customer incentive program and because it was a UPS program they insisted on it being shipped UPS(UPS, not dell, lol) so dell shipped it UPS.

Outside of that I believe its always crummy ole DHL. Tracking updates every few days...whats not to love?

They will use FedEx sometimes. If you live in the lower 48, expect DHL.

Well that sucks, I cant seem to find this, but does anyone know if DHL has a paper can print out that I can sign and post on my door so that they will leave the package on my porch, I am not sure someone will be home at the time they are delivering.

In canada, they seem to be shipping with normal Purolator... (It's canada's equivalent to USPS, but a bit faster and a bit more trustworthy) So please, don't complain :p
