    Hey guys,
I bought my E1505 about 4 months ago during the summer. When i first got it i thought it was a bit larger than i had hoped for, but figured i could deal with it no problem. Now that i have started school again, it is becoming increasingly less convienent to drag back and forth between home and school everyday. I have looked around, and think the XPS M1210 would much better suite my needs.

Does dell have any kind of trade in program for notebooks, or will the "buy it back"? ... and if they do... do they give you a reasonable amount for the practicaly new computers people may want to trade in?

Any other suggestions or better ways or places to sell it without loosing a HUGE chunck of the money i put into it?

    Thanks everyone,

you will lose a huge chunk of money regardless. notebooks are consumer goods that lose value very quickly.

    you can try ebay.

With just about any trade-in program your not going to get nearly what your notebook is worth. Ebay is your best bet. ;)

Dell doesn't have a buy back program. I only know of a few manufacturers that do that (mainly HP).

You can also donate it to charity and take a deducion on your taxes.
