The Dell Inspiron 6400 has an Intel Media Accelerator 950 Graphics built into the motherboard. So if you want to upgrade the card, I'm not sure how u can do it.

If you have the GMA950, the only way to upgrade would be to replace the motherboard. With a dedicated GPU, you're still limited between the geforce 7300, radeon x1300, or radeon x1400 that were available in the E1505/6400. None of these cards are powerful by modern standards and probably not worth the price to upgrade. I'd recommend looking at a new pc if your current one isn't meeting your needs.
