My Vostro 1500 finally hit the boxing stage yesterday, and suddenly today there's tons of threads stating that the main graininess problem on the new lines is on the 15.4" wxga+ glossy screen, which I (freaking naturally!!!) ordered on mine!

Does anyone know yet if there's any such complaints with the screen on the Vostro 1500? I'm one of those people that can't live with that kind of visual defect, and it'll drive me crazy until I throw the laptop off my balcony. If it's got that problem, I'd rather cancel the order (which I've waited weeks for) while there's still time.

    Thanks.

The screen is the same as the 1520 but they could have gotten the ones for the Vostro from a different batch, so maybe these ones are better. Either way, just go ahead with the order and take advantage of the 30 day return policy with free shipping if you aren't satisfied.
