I am going to order my 1520 tomorrow.... I was initially planning to go with the WXGA+ resolution but seeing a lot of ppl complaining abt grainy screen issues I am actually thinking of switching to the WXGA instead.....
Does anyone have a comparison photos of how the 1280x800 screen fares against the 1440x900 in the laptops ?

This is like thread number 5000 on this topic.
At first when I joined this forum, I thought wow, it's a big community and there are lots of posts so there must be a very active community. Now I realize that not a lot here know how to use the search feature and they posts the same thread over and over and over.

Well what I meant was some more photos showing how the desktop would look like (the icon size and stuff).... And if you had not noticed I had already posted in the thread you had given n19htmare implying that I had seen those photos but woudl have been happy if I get a more precise one which compares the exact same desktop to desktop for both the resolutions.....
I know that the size difference is quite less but still on the dilemma between these two.... If I go for the lower res I can save more money and as well get a decent screen but I just wanted to see a more exact picture to confirm this..... -

The attached might help. The computer on the left is WXGA and the one on the right is WXGA+. Sorry that they are different sizes (12.1" and 14.1", but I don't have an infinite number of computers at my disposal).

my bro has a WXGA 15.4 and i have a WXGA+ 15.4
To be honesly, I'm switching mine to WXGA because the grain on the WXGA+ is not acceptable to me.
at the same time, im thinking i can use it have them switch it few months down the road.....
pretty stuck on what I want to do. -
I guess I ll be sticking mostly with WXGA+ itself.... Thanx John Ratsey
Does anyone have a comparison photos of WXGA and WXGA+ ?
