This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    If you get the software you ordered (I got Office Student edition) comes separate from the laptop or together. I would think that they would just put it on for you.
    And also on the Canadian site, I am still in production, but under that it says Built to Order: Your order has been received and entered into Dell's Order Management System. Does this actually update?

    if your emailed invoice has two order numbers, they will probably ship sep. if all products were put under one order number, expect them to come together. hope this helps.

    No I'm pretty sure it doesn't update. We don't get specifics as far as build, testing, or boxing. They just tell us when it's in production and shipped.

    The software comes with it. I actually asked the same question earlier today in a different thread.

    Microsoft Office Home And Student 2007 will arrive pre-installed on your computer. The installation DVD and product keys will be included in the box.
