Heard the 9 cells do on alot of laptops. Just wondering if the E1505 is one of them, since I have one coming with it.

No, the 9 cell does not stick out of the laptop. We have reviews that show the 9 cell does not stick out.

When I pulled out my 6 cell pack, I noticed it felt a little "lop-sided," like there was room for more cells in there.....

The E1505's battery sits in the right front under the palm rest, not in the back. The 9 and 6 cells are the same shape and size. There are simply more cells packed into that shape in the 9cell. You can catch a good deal on a 9cell on Ebay a little cheaper after your purchase your unit.

I am typing this from an E1505 with the 9cell and it doesn't stick out. Battery life is insane!

Like people have said the 9 cell does not stick out. That is one of the major things that convinced me to buy a Dell.

    I am also typing this on a E1505 with a 9 cell.
