    Does the Venue 8 Pro only charge with its own USB cable?

    I've tried using the micro USB cable that came with my Xbox One controller and it won't charge this device, even when plugged into its own charger.

    It should work. Mine charged via an old HP Touchpad cable.

    looks like Dell is coming up with a simultaneous power-data dongle that accepts different chargers
