I have a Vostro 1400 on order with the default Dell802.11g card installed. I did not want to spend the ~$30 for the Intel 3945 through Dell. While watching my 1400 stay in the eternal build stage, I ordered a new Dell 3945 card off eBay for less than $12 shipped.

My plan is just to swap cards right away. Does this cause a problem with the Wifi Catcher? Since the Wifi catcher works with the PC in any state, I am just curious if it is locked into the Wifi card that ships with the laptop.
