The 710m takes mini PCI wireless card(your laptop is old) so no, the Intel 4965 wont fit/work.

Are you having problem with your current wireless card?

No. Your laptop only has a regular notebook PCI slot, not a newer PCIe slot. I am afraid you won't be able to find wireless N cards with that interface.

I'm not having any problem with the current card but I was thinking if it would be possible to upgrade to wireless-N.

Thanks to everyone for the help

You can probably get a PCMCIA WiFi card.
