    I believe it only comes with it if you purchase the webcam also.

    can i get this confirmed, it doesnt say anything on the site. I AM getting the built in webcam so if this is true it will be perfect,

    I did not get the webcam and I have 2 small holes above the screen just to the left and right of where the webcam lens would have been

    Mic is on all the Vostros but not sure how to enable it though. Just used my lappy for 4 hours.

    If you can check the parts that were used to make your laptop you will find it also has this mic even when you did not order the webcam. At least I do:

    UW165 ASSEMBLY, MICROPHONE, INTEGRATED, NOTEBOOK, LITEON, M08

    This shows mic hardware is standard not sure about the software : (

    I didn't have to do anything to my laptop to enable the mic. I opened it, the camera worked, the mic worked, everything was fine.

    I don't have a camera on mine and it has a built in mic...
    Sweet add on for free.
