    Does wifi internet seem more sluggish after Vista?

    I installed Vista Home Premium on my new 1505 and vista installed a generic broadcom 802.11g adapter which doesnt have near the changable settings as the dell driver did. My wifi just seems more sluggish now. any ideas?

    also a lot of sites are timing out on my now and never did before

    also I have the Dell 1390 Wlan card

    1) Download and install the manufacturer's Vista driver for your wireless card.
    2) Disable IP V6 for your wirelss connection.

    Yes it does appear to do so on my desktop if I run it from my USB wireless card. Wired not at all.
