As topic says, does TV-out work on your e1505, if so, what drivers are you using?

Depending on ur graphic card, I have a x1400 and I am using catalyst mobility 6.6 and it works great but u will need a 7-pin tv-out cable.

    Are you talking about S-Video?

I am using a 7-pin cable (using the same cable as I use on my other computer, where it works wonders, also a ATI card there).

try changing the display settings by pressing Fn+F8 or through the Catalyst Control Planel if it still did not work, reinstall the drivers.

Also try changing the TV format from the catalyst control panel, ur TV may not be a multi system

    Why would it not work?

The latest Catalyst Mobility 6.6 drivers support the ATI X1000 series video cards. Direct link to download:

    It dosn't work for me.

I have tried the orginal Catalyst, Omega and now the Catalyst 6.6.

When I connect the 7-pin cable (the same that I use for another computer (also ATI card, where it works great), with out enable anything with TV-out, the TV starts to shimmer, but there are no picture.

When I try to activate the "second desk" under Video options, it's just flipps back to unchecked after I pressed "apply". And there happens nothing on the TV, just the same shimmering screen.

In catalyst, under TV it tells me nothing is connected, when I chose force-connect and activate the second screen, it will be active in Windows, but there will be nothing diffrent on the TV-screen.

I tried plugging my 1505 up to a TV once, it worked but made the resolution much lower, presumably so the TV could handle it

Where do you get good 7-pin cables? All my tvs don't have s-video. I tried buying one off ebay but it was a 4-pin to RCA and didn't work. Suggestions?
