I noticed that to the left of the XPS logo on the back of the lid, if I slide my finger across the plastic, I can feel a small bulge that seems to be coming from a screw inside. I was wondering if other XPS's that had screens made from ChiMei Optoelectronics had the same issue. I'll post a pic when I can showing you the location.

Nope, I have the same one and no lump at all. I'd call Dell.

They do. Make sure you ask for the full body massage and pedicure once the laptop is fixed.

I hate to break it to you, but Dell only has male support techs. So ...uh ...

So? There ARE female computer users too, you know. And we do live in a metrosexual society now anyway. Doesn't matter either way. :)
