in your moment of excitement you forgot to inform the public of the details. like what sort of range will they be? Pentium M class? pentium4 class? i know intel is going to release a Pentium M Dothan that accepts 400mhz ram soon, but that was rumored for 4th Qtr 2004 not summer 2004. so what's the buzz? what's the news?

when you tell something to the public like this, a little explanation is worth my click. thank you.

I'd rather pay 1/3 as much for 90% of the performance of the top-of the line stuff.

If you wait now, you can wait forever. As with anything technology related, there are two rules to follow:

    1. As the above post stated, buy right under maximum curve of peak performance.

    2. Wait until the last possible time to purchase, ie: wait until you "need" something. That way, 2 months later, when your item is $100 cheaper and 2x faster, you can justify the purchase knowing that you "needed" it at the time and you couldn't have waited anyways.

    My 3 cents.
