Don't know if my LCD has light leakage, or if it's the viewing angle causing it

It looks like theres light leakage near the bottom, but if i tilt it certain ways, it goes away mostly. I don't know. What do you think? I'm seriously about to return this laptop and get an Asus G1S from Best Buy.

Should I just keep it and deal with it? I hated the whole process of calling them up, waiting for the tech to come, etc.

If you notice a problem, you will notice it forever.
I notice dead pixels much more than light leakage.

No LCD screen is perfect; it's luck of the draw. So your Asus G1 could easily have this problem. Buying a more expensive notebook won't help matters as the screens are all pretty much coming from China.

My screen has a little light leakage. I played Morrowind and even watched a dvd and had no problems with it though. It's irritating knowing that I paid over 1k for this but it doesn't bother me too bad. It's really just a personal decision.
