    Driver for built in microphone?

    where can i find the driver for the built in microphone that comes with the webcam? i tried chatting the other day and my friend couldn't hear me, then when i recorded a video, no luck there either!

    It comes in the Drivers in Utilities DVD. You need to set it up in your chatting program as well. Please post your DELL notebook model name/number, and the software you're using, so we can help you better.

    Try setting the correct microphone in Control Panel > Sound > Recording tab. Also ensure you are using the same microphone in your Instant Messenger program.

    i went there and it says that its "not plugged in"

    Yes, it happens with me as well when I don't install the drivers.
