    i get a BSOD more and more while playing on an online game network - don't laugh now. The message says the exact same words as the title of my thread here. Anyone ever see this before? I have updated drivers from Dell - 3 days ago, my Dell 1390 card was almost completely dead - i downloaded the correct driver and Rebooted and all was well again. Anyone have any ideas?

    It's hard to tell. That is a driver error, but i don't have enough info to tell you which driver it is. When that error happens again, you should see some .exe file or something listed as being the culprit. Once you learn that, then you know which driver it is and will be able to fix it.

    Normally with BSOD, it will say driver irql.... then have some file or driver listed. Generally, from my experiences it has been either a .dll or .exe file.

    I can't remember exactly where it is at, but somewhere on there it should list what file caused the problem. You might also check your system log. I'm pretty sure that BSOD are logged, but not sure how detailed it would be.

    control panel-->administrative tools-->computer management-->event viewer-->system log

    It's Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event viewer > System log. no Computer Management in the middle.

    Lol, I was going to suggest that and when I found myself on the log, I read SG had beaten me to it. Oh, schucks!

    thanks to southern girl and zicky - where would the clueless people like me be without y'all!

    I found it i saw this at about the time the BSOD came up - The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x100000d1 (0x0a02d7a8, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0x84f79e49). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini060506-01.dmp.

    it has "save dump" as the source. the event immediately preceding this was simply
    Microsoft (R) Windows (R) 5.01. 2600 Service Pack 2 Multiprocessor Free.

    doubt if this helps.

    I have only gotten the BSOD when playing partypoker.com (which i suck at by the way!) I have ewido security and NOD32 antivirus.
