How do I know if my drivers needs updating.
For example, in dell.com.au > drivers & downloads... i entered my service tag > then clicked on Network ... are those drivers or updates already installed? How do i find out which network card i have in mine.

Well the easiest way to tell is to look at the date the driver was released. So looking at most of them it is 11/07/07 and anything older than that your laptop will have. There are a few with newer dates however such as the Intel wireless one its date is 14/08/07. Now depending when your laptop was built it may have that or not. But its fairly simple is a drivers release date is after when your laptop was build you won't have that driver. But you should have any drivers with release dates before your laptop was built.
