    Hi all,

I did a clean install of Vista Business 32bit on a friend's Inspiron 1420. I know it's important to install the drivers in a specific order after that. But, when I run the Drivers and Utilities Disc that came with the system, it "detects my hardware" and says for some drivers "A hardware scan has detected the presence of this device." There is also a check mark next to the driver name. Does this mean I can skip installation of these drivers and just go in order of the ones not already installed?

For example, Dell Notebook System Software is not already detected or check-marked, but Intel Mobile Chipset is, Audiodrivers are not, etc.

    Thank you!
