    Can the M1530 play theses? If anyone doesnt know its possible to put this generation of 1080p movies on Dual-Layer DVD-R with Xvid encoding (no loss of quality)

    yeah, and the 1080p movies only come on blu ray i believe, so u have to get a blu ray player.

    No, you can XVid codec a 1080p movie to fit on a Dual Layer DVD-R

    u can play dvd-r DL discs in almost any dvd player, since dvds are compressed into 8GB and pressed....

    no loss of quality - depends on you wording..... all codecs compress..... do u want no pixel fragments on a 15" screen, or a 40" screen... theres a difference
