Hi there. Perhaps this is a dumb question but the tweaks and bloatware guide indicates you should visit www.dell.com to find your systems ahci driver.

I've been to dell.com and I can't seem to find anything at all related to an AHCI driver unless its just going past me.

Any idea what I would do to simply obtain this driver for my xp 1530 so when I do the reformat I can have this driver say on a seperate disk ?

    Thanks.

I think it will be the Intel Matrix Storage (RAID/AHCI) driver. Have you tried that?

Yes its the matrix storage manager driver..

But you might want to look at the XP driver pack thread from UDI here > http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=254815

And "search" around if you wish... I sure saw it somewhere.. sorry, can't find it exactly where now.. But the NBR Search should help you :)
