Is $619 good for a T2300, 1GB of Ram, 60 GB Hard Drive, DVD+-RW, Intel Wireless, 1 year onsite, and 9 cell battery? How much battery life does the 9 cell give and does it stick out?

Thats an excellent deal! Makes my deal look horrible :(

With that battery you would be looking at over 5 hours doing anything.

I get 3.5 hours with my 6 cell while watching a dvd.

Mine was $639 + TAX for:

    T2300E
    WXGA+ w/ TL
    512MB RAM
    100GB 5400 RPM HDD
    DVD+-RW
    Intel Wireless
    6-Cell Battery
    1-Year Warranty

I also got a $50 credit afterwards. I thought mine was a good deal, but yours is certainly better. Some add ons that I purchased afterwards:

    Truemobile 350 - $22
    2GB Kingston ValueRAM - $113.98 + Tax

You're definitely getting a good deal. The 9-Cell battery does stick out a bit, about an inch. You may want to consider getting the 6-Cell, & the 9-Cell as an additional battery for just $30 more (assuming it cost you $100 to upgrade your primary batter to a 9-Cell).

To my understanding the 9 cell sticks out less then an inch, and he probably got the $50 credit from calling dell and complaining that he didn't get the free upgrades that are offered now but not then when he ordered it (Thats what I did to get my $50 anyway).

I ordered my E1405 right before Dell started switching from the T2300 to the T2300E processors. I, along with many others, ordered the E1405 w/ the T2300 processor; however, Dell thought they'd save a couple dollars by quietly shipping out several notebooks with the less expensive T2300E. I'm sure you can guess what happened from there.
