    Thanks Unreal ...

    One question ...... when you are talking about the preference of getting a Matte Display or a Glossy Display, (Matte less reflective, Glossy more vibrant), how does that equate to Dell's ordering process.

    Meaning, here are your options when ordering a Notebook at Dell ...

    14.1 inch Wide Screen XGA Display

    OR

    14.1 inch WXGA+ UltraSharp

    Is the WXGA the Matte Display ? and the WXGA+ the Glossy Display ?

    Thanks to ALL here helping people that only order a new Laptop once every 6 years !!

    WXGA+ = Glossy (TrueLife)
    XGA = Matte

    This poll has already been done for E1405 users............

    Get the gloss and higher resolution screen. The light leakage is not that bad.

    Be careful while selecting Truelife LCD. It shows 40$ but it adds 50$ to actual price. I mean the price before the existing dicount. If you change the default you will be charged 50$.Check it once.

    The Truelife option also has a higher resolution (1440x900) so you can also take that into consideration when making your choice.

    some of the 640m's in canada don't have the matte option anymore.
