    Hi.

I can get the E1405 for 660$ after tax and free shipping(New, not from outlet).
    The configuration is such:
    Core Dou 2x1.66GHZ
512MB (will upgrade later if i'll feel it neccecery)
    6 cell battery
    matte screen
    80GB
    CD-RW/DVD
    Media center remote control

I can also take a DVD-RW and 60GB and lose the remote for the same price, but I don't really need a DVD-RW so I rather just have the 80GB.

Should I order it or is there some better deal?
essetialy I want either a E1405 or E1505, E1505 is better because of the bigger screen, with core dou and prefarebly 60GB and over but will settle if it saves a lot of cash.

I'll tell you what others have told me: just buy what you want when you want it and don't worry too much about the fluctuating deals because you could ALWAYS save a few bucks by waiting, but how long do you want to wait?. There will always be better deals, but it may not be for a month or two. Unfortunately, you never know if next week that same computer will include a 1 GB RAM upgrade for free, or whatever...but 'tis the nature of the beast.

My sense is that the Dell deals fluctuate slightly over the course of a month, while gradually going down over time (although one wonders just how cheap laptops can or will become).

So buy now...or soon. Maybe wait until next Thursday to see what the latest Dell upgrades and deals are. I bought mine last week and the deal was better than this week (in the last four weeks, the free upgrades have been: RAM, hard-drive, RAM, and nothing this week). So if you wait until next week you'll probably get a RAM or hard-drive upgrade for free, but the same general price.

By the way, I got my e1405 for $763, but that includes the 9-cell battery, 1 GB RAM upgrade (for free), 60 GB hard-drive, and a dvd-burner.

I haven't meant I wanna wait, I just wondered if there is something better now, maybe even with the e1505.
Anyway, I'll decide in the next few days whether to order or wait for some e1505 that compares to this e1405. I don't really need a laptop until october so I can definatly take my time.

About the price, I don't really know, a friend of mine found this, and knowing i'm seeking for a laptop he told me about it, it was something with EPP or something like this.
I'll try to talk to him tomorrow(it's 10PM here) to find out how he did it.

It's a good deal, but if you can wait a little longer (maybe a week or so), I bet Dell will come up with some even hotter deals. Towards the end of April Dell had a lot of amazing deals wth 35%-40% discount+$35coupon+6% DPA discount. Although you may not see those again for a while, but there should be some 25% discount deals coming out soon.

this one is something like 35% off...
    660$ include 6% tax.
Does anyone know a E1505 deal that compares to this?(nothing fancy, I just need 60GB and over, don't care for DVDRW).

    PS
Just saw at deals section, B130 512MB,60GB,DVDRW,15.4in,6cell battery comes up to 550.
    600$ with shipping and tax.
Will the battery hold 3.5-4 hours of light usage?
I rather take this over the E1405 because of the screen and also 55$ less.

If the WIFI is off and the brightness is 1/2, it will last for 4 hrs.
