Just got a E1405 with glossy WXGA+ TrueLife. The higher resolution (1440*900) makes everything so small. So, I switch to the next lower resolution setting (1280*768). But the screen looks very fuzzy and blurry with that setting. My other 14'' notebook has 1280*768 resolution and looks ok. Does anybody know whether the WXGA+ LCD doesn't work with that resolution setting? Thank you!

You are not using the native resolution of your screen, and it's normal for things to look a little blurry / fuzzy. If the text and stuff is to small for you, adjust the DPI and text size and then keep it at 1440x900.

running an LCD outside of native resolution = fuzzy.

Thanks for the info. I tried to change the DPI to 120. It does make the font larger, but it also distort a lot of images in IE and other programs. For some website, increasing text size doesn't work in IE, but works fine in Firefox. I guess there is no perfect solution to this problem. I will have to get used to the small font (I have been using 19" LCD most of the time). Other than that, the Truelife LCD is very good for viewing photos and movies.
