I have heard people talking about this problem before. I have it on my E1405 too. Its not that big of a deal and there isnt really too much room for it to move around, but has any 1 found a solution for this?

I've ordered two E1405's for friends & it was only an issue on one of the systems. Previous suggestions have been to put a piece of cloth/felt in between the screen and the keyboard, but all that really does is protect your LCD. Depending on the thickness of the cloth, it'l still be loose.

What others have suggested is to place little stoppers (like the one Dell already has on there, but bigger), around the edge of the monitor. This will fill up the free space, giving the lid less room to move.

It happens on mine as well. Only on the right hand size though.
