Hmm thats odd. The price did go up but a bunch of stuff is standard now.

For instance I bought mine 2 days ago and started with the Ultimate Edition Config.

Here are a few things I notice different.

Upgrade to Trulife went up (I think 20 bucks)

1 gig of ram is standard (and 2 gigs is now only 200 bucks, was 300)

Comes with 80 gig 7200 RPM drive now and yeserday it was the 80 gig 5400.

8X burner is now standard and the only option.

The wireless card is now the 3945 MiniCard and its standard and the only option.

2 year warranty is now standard it was 1 year.

24 months free of mcafee, yeserday it was 12 months.

    Thats all that stuck out.

Im noticing it too.. when I order my stuff online it says one price, but if I call in to make a order change, they wanna charge 10$ extra then listed price for some ODD reason... I try to argue with them that online it says "x" price.. but still..

before all the acc. were 20-25% off, and now they are all original price b/c dell is offering dollars off instead of percents off. Configured a similar e1505 to the one I purchased a few days ago and it was $50 more (than the original price). Don't know where it came from but w/e. Sure makes me feel good, specially since the $100 coupon's no longer valid...
