Are both RAM slots for the E1505 accesible? Can anyone provide pictures please, if possible.

They are located underneath the computer

so i am assuming that they are both accesible?
-
yes, all you have to do is remove the two screws and the plate. Both slots are visible as soon as you remove the plate.

okie dokie, thanks so much

"Slide the module firmly into the slot at a 45-degree angle, and rotate the module down until it clicks into place."
what do they mean by rotate? like move it in a circular motion while i put it in at a 45 degree angle? -
No it is not a circular motion. When you put it in at a 45 degree angle, the stick is at 45 degrees to the notebook, so once it gets in the slot, you need to push it down. I think that is the way it goes.
It is pretty user friendly. Just pay attention to how you pull out your old card, and it is the same process - just somewhat backwards.
I don't really know how to explain it. You don't physically turn the card sideways or anything. You have to get the card to go from 45 degree angle to being flat with the notebook. -
Metamorphical Good computer user
Both ram slots are user accessible beneath the slotted cover on the bottom. Remove the two screws on the side of the ram cover door. This is the slotted one one the base. The screws are Philips heads. The ram slot pops up to be easily user accessable and flattens back when you slip the memory in. For encouragement, It is much easier to install memory in a Dell than in other kinds of laptops, Toshiba for example.

forget dell's confusing instructions. just pop open the lid, pay close attention when you remove the stick of ram thats already in it. (also you can practice sliding that one back into place to get a feel of the angle). pop in your other stick, and you're done. simple 2 min job. much easier than toshiba for sure.

Yes they are -
Make sure you pay attention to the groove in the memory module! I don't think anyone said anything about this yet, but it's important if you have never installed memory before. I know plenty of people(mostly the freshman at my college when I was in the computer tech program) who have destroyed not only their memory but the motherboard of the computer by trying to jam in the ram when the groove wasn't lined up to the motherboards memory slot! When it's at school you are fine, because you usually don't have to pay for it, but when it's your laptop and your money you better be careful!
Just thought that was an important point that no one had made yet.
