First time poster - I just got my new E1505, and I'm trying to find my way around it. It doesn't seem to have a built-in microphone. Is there a way to hook up an external mic? I'm planning on mixing video on the road, and I need a way to input voice overs.

    Any thoughts appreciated.

Cheapest solution would be purchasing a USB (Digital) Mic.

Thanks. After searching Dell's site and looking more closely, there's a mic-in, which accepts a mono mic (the printed materials with the notebook were confusing).

Do you think the USB/digital mic will get better sound quality than an analog mic through the mic-in port?
