    Hi all,

Looking for a few 'volunteers' to help gather valuable data on MediaDirect 2.0

    Need someone with a E1505/6400, E1705/9400 and....

    1. Has some spare time to devote [30 min or so]
    2. Has a USB flash drive [aka thumb drive, USB memory key, etc]
    3. Can follow directions [I know... hard to find in this crowd] :D
    4. Comfortable with some minor DOS 'thingies'

There are two 'classes' of systems that need to be investigated.

    a. Systems that are pretty much as-delivered by Dell [clean-up of Win XP is fine]. For this 'control' group MediaDirect Reinstallation or Repair utilities must NOT have been run. No new partitions or modifications to partitions

    b. Systems where the hard drive has been replaced and the Dell MediaDirect Reinstallation has been run. For this group MediaDirect Repair utility must NOT have been run.

If you can help out, please PM and I'll pass along specifics.

Sorry, this will have to be Pro Bono work as I can't afford to offer up a free laptop to participants. :D

    Thanks

    Mark
