Like a lot of people, I'm trying to decide between the 640M and the 6400. I like the dedicated video option of the 6400 but like the size of the 640M.
One question I have for those that already have a Core2Duo E1505/6400 in the US, did it come with the smaller 65w A/C brick adaptor or does it come with the larger 90w A/C brick?
The only specs I can find list the 65w but the only option for a second A/C adaptor when I put one together is for the 90w.
Thanks!

interesting, how ever I havnt heard of anyone who upgraded their cpu needing to buy a new power brick, many just ordered the newer heatsink assembly.

Sorry, I must not of explained what I'm asking very well. I am referring to the external A/C power brick that comes standard with the laptop. I know the Core2Duo 640M comes with the smaller "lighter" 65w brick. I am wondering if the Core2Duo 6400 comes with the smaller "lighter" 65w brick or does it have the larger "heavier" 90w brick.
I currently have a HP zv6000 AMD Athlon 64 laptop and one thing I hate about it is the size of the external power brick. It is HUGE. The Dell 90w brick is not much smaller than my HP brick but the 65w is.

I think i got the 65w adapter with my last Dell E1505 that came with a Core Duo and an ATI X1400 but i don't remember. I have an HP dv2000t and it came with a 90w AC adapter and it is not huge. It is farely small.

Haha, that's funny, when I got my I6400 my battery was already 4% down from its original full battery life and I called Dell and they said it's because of the adapter and they sent me a 90W adapter to replace my 65W one. I don't know, but I think this adapter is way better as the recharge time is way lesser.
E1505/6400 A/C Power Adaptor???
