    Is there any better driver for the ATI X1400 ?

    I don't think that you don't have much choice right now - ATI has stopped providing drivers for this card, just referring users to the OEM and I'm not aware of any current 3rd party drivers for this card.

    Has drivers, they work pretty well. Usually seem to give a slight increase in 3DMark scores. Also allows for tweaking. I've been using them pretty much since i got this laptop, about a year ago. No issues with them.

    I will make one comment though, be careful about some drivers. If you discover that you cannot play DVDs in Windows Media Center then you need to install digitally signed drivers, either Dell or Omegadrivers will work. Then again, if you don't have XP MCE then just ignore that last brain fart!
