    E1505 ATI problems?

    This is a cliants Laptop.

    was brought in for not booting/no screen

    i ordered a used video card same specs.

    i throw it in and it boots screen comes up and all but it well startloading windows go black with the backlight on then go Black.

    so i take the card back out and replace all the thermal past (if your video is acting kidna funny try this, the thermal past was hard and flaked away.) i get alot farther this time i see a mouse then black with backlight, then all black again. and you can hear the OS load...

    im going to try a powerinverter now, any one else got ideas..

    its not the pwerinverter...

    the old video card would not show bios or anything just a black screen/no backlight.
    this thing is kicking my butt ill take any help


    im gonna send the card back and get another one.
