Has anyone ever ordered an extra 9 cell battery from batteries.com, instead of Dell?
Would this be a knock-off replacement, instead of the reall thing, and would it be okay?
It is much less than buying from Dell.

honestly i like to keep the brands on most parts the same.

if it is the same battery as the one advertised on the dell site then go for it.

otherwise if it really isnt that much more expensive to just go through dell it might not be worth the possibility of getting a low grade battery.

another thing, you might want to look on ebay or another online store because I KNOW they sell the dell 9-cell batteries on ebay for almost 1/2 the "dell price" sometimes.

I'm going to guess that it will get around 2-2.5 hours with a 6 cell.

I just purchased a 9-cell for my e1505 off of eBay. It is a dell battery, brand new for $63. It works perfectly and my run time is much much better now.

If it was up to me I would buy a 12 cell from ebay. Im looking at ebay right now and they have about 5 for sale that are around $65.00 US s/h included.
