I'm having problems burning DVDs with my E1505.

I use the combo of DVD Decrypter + DVD Shrink, after DVD Shrink finishes encoding the movie file and right before it starts to burn, I got this error message says:

    Burn Error
    Error:\nCannot connect TFRF.

BTW, I have Nero v6.6.14 for burning. On my desktop I use the same DVD Decrypter+DVD Shrink+Nero and I never experienced a problem like this.

My DVD drive is TSST TS-L532B 8x DVD+/-RW, with the lastest firmware dated 05/17/06.

Does anyone know what the problem is?

So you are outputting it to an .iso file then burning with Decrypter?

I'm not sure what ".iso file" means, all I did was to use DVD Decrypter to decrypt the DVD movie (larger than 4.6GB), then opened the decryted file with DVD Shrink and encoded it (it went through fine), but once DVD Shrink finished encoding and initizated burning, that's when I got the error message.

I followed the exact same procedures on my desktop computer and it burned just fine.

I removed Nero 6.6.1.4 an re-installed the older version of Nero (6.6.0.1) and it burned ok....then I installed the newer version 6.6.1.4 and now I got the error message again!

I'm totally lost. Why would this drive work with the older version of Nero but not the newer version? I thought the new Nero 6.6.1.4 was supposed to be more stable and reliable.

Perhaps try just using DVD Shrink and Nero, see if that works. DVD Shrink should take care of the decryption and compression on its own.
