    E1505 Hinges - Missing a part?

    I just noticed on my E1505, that on one of the hinges where the LCD connects to the base, one of the "tubes" are thinner and seemingly uncovered, compared to the others. When you look at the gap between the base and the LCD panel, 3 of them, have a silver chrome-like tube that connects the two. However, one of the 4 gaps, only has a very thin metal rod, with no fat chrome piece. I don't know if anyone knows what i'm talking about, and if this is the case on everyone else's inspiron.

    How long have you had it. I have both on mines so call dell and let them know

    i just noticed mine is like that too

    on the right side both of them got that chrome thing

    on the left side, the left of the left hinge got it but the right one of the left hinge don't got it

    hmmm

    tell me how dell responds if you call dell
