So last Thursday I took the plunge and ordered an E1505. I ordered a pretty decked out machine. Specs are below.

The automated order status phone line says that my order is at the boxing stage (online it says it is in testing stage). But both still say the system is estimated to ship on April 14. That seems way off if the order is really at the boxing stage. I know the order needs to arrive from Malaysia, but based on your experience, if the order is today in the boxing stage, when will it ship?

Thanks for all the advice given on this site. This is my first post, but I have been reading the posts here for a while. I'll certainly give a review of my new system when it arrives.

Boxing is a ~3 day event. Its a euphemism for put in on a 747 freighter and drop it at one or more shipping points. If you chose ground then it be either Nevada or Tennessee. When it hits UPS, then it takes ~1 day to get a UPS tracking number. In total it took mine 9 days, order to delivery.
