I am looking to get a port replicator for my dell e1505 and I am not really sure what options there are to use. If anyone could point out some of them to me that would be great and if you have any personal experience with one, your opinion of it would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

You can use any USB Universal docking station. We've done a review on a targus one, and I just submitted a review on Kensington's w/ Video (should be published this week). The Inspiron series do not have a docking station built specifically for them, so that is why you have to go with a USB Universal dock.

Here is the one I reviewed: http://us.kensington.com/html/11613.html

BTW, yes those two will work. They are actually the same dock, but one comes with the stand (i believe that is the first link you have) and the other doesn't.

If you want good docking options then you should go with the Latitude lineup. I bought the 'port replicator' off of the Dell site, the one that costed me over $100 and did me absolutly no good. I didn't find any good reason for it. But maybe if you want it. The one that raises the screen up doesn't really clear up and more desk space either.
