I'd like to upgrade to 2 gigs. Dell is selling two 1 gig sticks for $139, but Newegg has 2 of them for $76 with an additional $20 rebate. The make is Corsair. Any good?

Also should I get the 667MHz above (Newegg only has 1 option in this spec) or the 533 MHz (with more options)?

The corsair looks good. RAM either works or it doesn't so you don't need to get more expensive, it comes with a lifetime warranty so no worry. You should get 667Mhz. Good find!

    looks good!

Get the 667mhz... Corsair is a big brand, just like Crucial and Kingston.

Whats the FSB on your processor? If its 533 MHz then you don't have a need to get 667 MHz RAM. The 533 has tighter timings, and your ram won't run at 667, it'll just downclock and adjust the timings accordingly. Essentially, buying 667 mhz ram is the same as buying 533, so honestly, just buy whatever is less expensive.

Earlier this week I orded two 1 GB sticks of G.Skill 667 MHz(PC2-5300) with a Cas Latency of 4. That was $85.

I can't wait to put them in.
