Anyone using more than 2 gb ram in an E1505? Dell says the max is 2 gb, I'd like to try upgrading to 4 gb for Vista. Thanks.

If the max is 2gb, then 4 isn't going to work... =)

Tried it anyway, the E1505 works just fine with 4GB 667MHz DDR2. Don't know why Dell says the max for this computer is 2GB though.

How much of the 4GB can your system detect?

In the Bios, it shows the whole 4GB. I'm running Vista 32 and it's shows 3.25GB. Looks like it works to me.
