I have 2 questions regarding my new E1505 (note I complete reformat and put XP pro on the machine)

    1) The screen does not autoshut when I close the lid. It's default to be standby but I turn off this feature, nevertheless I would expect it to shut down the screen when the lid is closed.

    2) MediaDirect cannot see partitions other than C? It can read files from "C:" drive fine but I partition the Hd into 2 partitions (both NTFS, C and D) and it won't see D .

    - Also here's what I get, Total was about $1300 after tax (free ship) , US.

    E1505 , dual core 2.0GHz , 1Gig Ram , ATI X1300 , 120 Gig 5400rpm HD, DVD burner , WideScreen 1680 x 1050, 9 cell battery.

    - I think the Seagate HD I have is ultra quiet which is great, it generates absolutely no sound at all. But on the other hand the TSSTCorp (what kind of brand is this ?) DVD writer makes lots of noise.

Furthermore, I think the screen is not BRIGHT enough, even if I turn it all the ways up.

I have the same problem, no access to my D drive. Hope there is some way to hack it.
