Having bought / sold several of these, I've noticed almost every one of them suffer form this issue. The bottom right hand corner near the system tray is noticably dark / looks like a shadow.

Has anyone else noticed this or have I just gotten unlucky? I only care because I decided to keep one of these. :) If it's common and expected, I'll just go with it. Otherwise, if there's anything to be gained by complaining to Dell, I will.

    Hey DJSlakoR,

I've read your post about the tiny dark spot on the right corner of your notebook LCD.
I have the same problem, although I wouldn't call it a real probelm since it doesn't bother me at all. I started noticing this the second week I'd have my
I6000d when I wanted to update the clock using the update Windows time feature.
It's something I can live with so I didn't bother to call DELL to request a replacement. I've read about people complaining for this same issue in this forum and in another forums and some of them have even complained DELL for this but, sometimes, the replacement LCD they've got is worse than the one they sent DELL to be replaced, so bottom line is, if this thing doesn't interfere with what you do with your notebook, you better of just ignore it. It's not going to hurt anything.

    Just my two cents.

I've seen lots of posts about this problem in several forums. Some people have had success in getting rid of the dark corner(s) by "massaging" that area of the screen while it is powered off.
