This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    After I look at it for a few minutes (first new laptop in 3 years) I plan on uninstalling all the bloatware (I don't really want to wipe the HD and start over) and install the Catalyst 6.11 drivers. I'm not a heavy gamer so I don't want to OC anything yet, maybe in the future. I want to stop all the unnecessary services and I thought there was a thread on that here but I can't find it for the life of me, been searching for a while. Anyone have that thread and anything else I should do?
