This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    E1505 reformat and clean install...

    ...and I've installed all of the drivers, but I've still got three items listed in Device Manager as "Base System Device" with the little yellow question mark next to them. What could these be?

    Just go here and enter in the number from the express service tag sticker on the bottom of your laptop, then select the downloads option...

    Did you follow SouthernGirl's install guide? The guide tells you what mandatory drivers you need to install. You missed at least one if you have question marks.
