I have been having some problems with my E1505 and graphics lately so i am running i8kfungui and see my cpu is peaking around 52 degree Celcius and my gpu is around 69 degrees celcius memory around 55 c and chipset at 49c.. I have taken the thing apart and blown out all teh dust i could with compress shop air... any idea if these numbers are to high or if i potential damaged my cpu and gpu?

    Your CPU temp is fine.

Your GPU's temp might be a little high, but it is also fine.. nothing close to being damaged.

What's your CPU model? My e1505 CPU which is a T2300 (1.66GHz) peaks at 65-76C

T5600 1.83 core 2 duo... thinking about getting the T7200 and replacing it.. just put a seagate 7200.3 320 gig drive in it.. made the strange sound but quiethdd fixed that

The gpu is peaking at 80 deg C.. is that really bad? i am not sure why it is getting this hot.. i took the laptop apart and got all teh dust and cat hair out with compress shop air from one of my scuba tanks but it is still running really hot... the fan sounds like it is working and I8kfangui shows the states... should this thing have a 2nd fan that isnt work?

AFAIK there's only one fan shared by the CPU and GPU.

Well, you say the GPU is peaking at 80C now; how much higher was the temperature higher before you cleaned the computer?

Did you take the heat sync off? It's possible that it could use reapplication of thermal compound or maybe the heatpad wore out?
