Anyone else with a E1705 notice a 'high pitched' electrical whine coming from the RAM access area?

I first noticed this today. I had plugged in the unit for charging and now its making this noise. Removing the batt causes the noise to stop. Placing the batt back into the unit starts the whine.

Charge indicator on the battery lights up all LEDs.

The battery indicator on the unit flashes green every 7 seconds.

I emailed support and received this lame 'canned' response email. I guess a phone call is in order. Wanted to check to see if anyone here has experienced this with their new E1705/9400.

    Thanks in advance!

It's not uncommon for an electrical device to make that sound.

However if it's pretty loud, there might be something wrong.

Yeah it is really annoying. After I talk to support I'll update in case anyone else is having this issue.

Yea my battery does make these really low electric whine, but thats normal. Unless its really loud that it can sometimes tune out your music, then that would be a problem.
