I know there are a few other threads on this but I need an opinion here...

Dell Rep in Argentina quoted me @ 104.00 for the HAUPPAUGE WinTV-PVR-USB2 w/MCE Kit (Dell Part# A0446158).

Anyone using this? When I placed my order for my E1705 I asked for the TV Tuner option (130.00). My bad that I didn't check the quote/details before ordering. The rep who took my order didn't include it. Now I am positive I can still get them to send me (paying for it of course) the one offered as an upgrade (its a revised Emuzed Angel USB TV Tuner w/remote). Its the silver and black casing with the Dell logo on it.

Question is - which one should I go with? I would love to have some feedback from users of both Tuners...

Thanks! Feedback from SouthernGirl or USAFDude would be nice since she seems to know what she's posting about ;)

I haven't heard much about hauppauge, but it looks pretty good. You can find info on it at:
    http://www.hauppauge.com/

I think most users get the Emuzed Angle one, and I really haven't seen very many complaints about it.

Unfortunately, I don't have any experience with either, so I really can't tell you which would be better. If it was me, I would probably go with the hauppauge.

Personally, I'm waiting for ATI to release THIS PRODUCT. Looks more promissing as it'll be in HD.
I haven't heard of Emuzed before (since I wasn't in the market for it), but I do own a hauppaug PVR250 (PCI) on my desktop.
Qaulity is good and haven't had any problem with it at all. I set that up to record shows on my desktop then stream it with MCE2005 on my laptop (wireless).
That work out pretty good w/o any lag or frame drop. Hauppaug is a quality product, you may seach more on it as I've read some where that the USB version gets too hot then froozed up.
But yeah....... I'm waiting for the ATI to release that. What ever you go with, let us know how it work.
