    E1705 6cell vs 9cell batteries

    I just had a quick question about the battery size on the E1705 /9400. Does the 9 cell battery stick out from anywhere or is it the exact size as the 6 cell. I know on some latops the stronger batteries stick out of the back or create a bump on the bottom and this is something I don't like...

    No, the 9 cell is the exact same size as the 6 cell.

    It is the smaller inspirons that have the bigger 9 cell battery.

    Like SG said, 9 and 6 cells are the same size. If you need the battery life and want to 9 cell. Get it on Ebay for a little less.

    You should defintely get the 9 cell battery. You may never know when you will need to use the extra battery life.

    I agree, I definitely want the stronger battery. I just wanted to make sure it would not stick out. I may even buy the laptop itself on ebay now that the E1705 w/Go 7800 is so hard to get...
